Velkommen til workshop i kontaktimprovisasjon med Anna Thu Schmidt.
Workshopen vil foregå på engelsk:
The workshop offers an introduction to Contact Improvisation (CI) and a playful approach to the following themes: rolling point of contact, giving/receiving/sharing weight, lifting and flying. We start with a gentle movement meditation to tune into our bodies and a warm-up that gives an introduction to touch and listening through body surfaces. Playful movement tasks follow to connect to the space and each other and we will explore technical skills for partner work. We finish with an open jam where you can improvise freely and play with the material and explore your own dance.
Anna Thu Schmidt is a dance artist with a passion for dance improvisation, interdisciplinary collaborations, site-specific performances, and integrated dance. She is based in Trondheim after living in Germany, the Netherlands, and Indonesia. She holds a B.A. in Dance in Education (ArtEZ University of the Arts Arnhem/Netherlands) and M.A. in Dance Studies (NTNU). Her work is inspired by the connection and communications between humans and nature. Her interest in the relation of dance to other arts leads to international collaborations and research on the intertwinement of dance and installation art. Her artistic work navigates around questions of accessibility in dance. Themes such as inclusion and exclusion in interaction with the audience are explored in a variety of performance formats through a multisensory approach. Anna leads ImproDans Trondheim and Samtidsdans for voksne Trondheim, and started up PRAXIS Trondheim and Ecstatic Dance in Trondheim.

Tilgjengelighet
Vi ønsker at så mange som mulig skal kunne oppleve levende kultur, derfor er Konserthuset tilgjengelighetstilpasset og har heistilgang fra alle etasjer. I vår billettskranke kan du bestille både rullestolplasser og teleslynge.
Parkering
Det er tre parkeringshus i kort avstand fra konserthuset. Den nærmeste er rett over gaten i Sentrumsgården. Kvartal 99 og Glasshusgarasjen er også like ved.
Vergeordning
På en del av våre arrangementer med 18 årsgrense kan man benytte seg av vergeordning ned til 15 års alder. Vergen må være over 25 år, være til stede under hele arrangementet og kan ikke nyte alkohol/rusmidler før eller under arrangementet. Èn verge kan ha ansvar for to personer under 18 år.
